October 2018 I began my journey through an extensive training program which included 800 classroom hours.

Though not required, during this time of training, I spent every opportunity possible giving away practice massages to family, friends, and referrals. I have given away over 1,000 practice hours.

I graduated in September of 2019 in the top of my class.

Why I'm a Massage Therapist

I broke my back in 7 places in 2015, and I came to know the serious impact massage can have on successful recovery from major injuries, and since have made massage a regular part of my personal self care routine.

During a particularly stressful time in my life, I found myself coping with my distress by asking my friends to let me give them a massage, many of them suggested I become licensed.

While talking to one in particular, a Navy Veteran, who, suffered from PTSD, and had had multiple reconstructive surgeries, I wished I knew how to truly help him heal from his traumas, physical and emotional.

From that conversation came a deep reawakening of my long desire to be a healer, thus I embarked on my journey to become a Licensed Massage Therapist., specializing in Therapeutic Massage.

I Chose East West College of Healing Arts, over less expensive, and less extensive schools, because I wanted to do more than help people relax, and they provided the in-depth training I needed to begin my life journey of becoming a healer.

Through Continuing Education certifications and a deep nerdy desire for further knowledge, I am always learning, and finding ways to bring new skills into my practice.
